About Wind Prairie Doxies
Our Story
We are a small family-owned breeder specializing in Dachshunds. We started breeding Dachshunds about 10 years ago because we wanted to share the joy and love that these amazing animals bring to our lives.
All of our Parents are AKC or CKC registered.
All moms and dads are health tested or are being tested via Embark.
Our Philosophy
At Wind Prairie Doxies, we believe in responsible breeding practices that prioritize the health and well-being of our dogs. We are committed to producing happy and healthy Dachshund puppies that will make great pets for families and individuals alike.

Reserve Your New Friend!
Our babies are adopted quickly, so reach out to reserve your furever friend or to ask any questions.
We require a $500 non-refundable deposit to hold one of our puppies.
Deposit contracts are going to be required.
All of our puppies require a signed contract upon leaving.
The cost is $1,800 plus tax with no papers, Or $2,800 plus tax with AKC.
